Watthala – Bopitiya Divi Naguma Sathi  Pola opened to public

Hon. Basil Rajapaksa, Minister of Economic Development declared open the New  ”Watthala – Bopitiya Divi Naguma Sathi  Pola” on 21st June 2012.

This trade complex has 150 stalls, with water electricity, sanitary and parking facilities.

There are many public markets in Sri Lanka but traders and consumers had faced lot of difficulties due to lack of sanitation, water and electricity and parking facilities. Therefore Hon. Basil Rajapaksa, Minister of Economic Development has initiated a programme to develop the all public markets in Sri Lanka.
